The crowd chanted in response: "Jews!".

UK: Galloway accuses Israel of supporting antisemitism in Ukraine in order to encourage Aliyah

George Galloway, a rabid antisemite, suggested on his Iranian Press TV show that Israel made a pact with the Neo-Nazi Ukrainian, in order to make life for Ukrainian Jews so difficult that they will come to "Palestine".

Hungary: A renewal of the canard that Hungarian Jews are not true Hungarians

Which puts Hungarian Jews in a very difficult position.  They can't identify as an ethnic group, and therefore are losing their self-identity.
With the recent popularity of the anti-Semitic Jobbik party, the third-largest in parliament, there is a renewal of the canard that Hungarian Jews are not true Hungarians, the rabbi explained.
“That’s why it’s very difficult to identify yourself as a Jew here and now. The Nazis of today, they say that the Jews are not Hungarians,” and if the ethnic aspect of Judaism is stressed it would be tantamount to giving Jobbik a “weapon” to use against the Jews, he said.

Beyond that, however, Frolich believes that “when you say you are a Jew as a nationality, it means that you tear yourself apart from the Hungarian nation,” and that this grants a victory to Hitler and his Hungarian collaborators, who told the Jews that they were not Hungarian.

“Because of the generation of the Holocaust, we have to remain part of the Hungarian nation to show that the Nazis were not right,” he asserted.

France: Anti-Israel slogans on Jewish candidate's posters

Snaoui is being charged with inciting hatred against a racial and religious group.

Russia: Article lists Jews as Russia's 'true shame'

Though it might seem harmless, in Russia 'outing' Jews and stressing their Jewish names is done in an antisemitic context.

The suggestive use of Jewish-sounding names also seems to have featured in an article by Aleksandr Grishin in pro-Kremlin tabloid Komsomolskaya Pravda about the opposition March for Peace on 15 March.

Headlined "Russia's 'true shame'" the article listed a number of people at the Russian march who, it said, applauded Ukrainian nationalists with alleged Nazi sympathies: "Makarevich, Bykov, Kats, Shats and Nemtsov" - all of them known to be Jewish or having Jewish-sounding names.

But, said RJC president Yuri Kanner, one of those listed - TV presenter Mikhail Shats - was not even there. "Why was he included? Because he is a Jew," said Kanner.

Kanner also took issue with the article's description of the marchers as "traitors" and "people without a motherland". The latter, he said, was a coded phrase for Jews.

This is not the first time that Komsomolskaya Pravda has faced accusations of anti-Semitism. Last May, another of its columnists, Ulyana Skoybeda, wrote on its website: "Sometimes you are sorry that the Nazis did not make lampshades out of today's liberals - there would be fewer problems."

Austria: Jew sent to jail for 'defrauding' state of former Jewish property

Via Tablet Magazine:
On April 4, Stephan Templ, a Jewish 53-year-old architectural historian, will report to an Austrian prison to spend the next three years in jail. His crime: helping his mother, a Holocaust survivor, reclaim her share of a 19th-century hospital off Vienna’s Ringstrasse that was seized by the Nazis from a relative in 1938.
According to the three-judge panel that convicted him last April, Templ—who has written extensively about Austria’s poor record of providing restitution for Nazi-looted art and property—himself deliberately defrauded the state of what one judge insisted was Austria’s right to claw back a piece of the proceeds.
(...)

Templ believes he is being singled out for political reasons. In 2001, he and his partner Tina Walzer wrote a book called Unser Wien—or Our Vienna—that detailed the history and ownership of some 350 prominent buildings, landmarks, and businesses that had been Aryanized after the Anschluss. The book put many Austrians on notice that Nazi-era theft and postwar re-appropriation of looted Jewish property was not a buried issue and earned the pair the front-page headline “A New Campaign Against Austria” in the mass-circulation tabloid Kronen Zeitung.
(...)
“This scandalous court rules that they should get the Fürth building back again,” Templ told me in a telephone interview last week. “That’s just Aryanizing it all over again.”

Sweden: H&M recalls shirt with David’s Star and skull

The H&M clothing chain announced that after a deluge of complaints, it was pulling from its stores a shirt depicting a skull in the center of a Star of David.

The shirt was highlighted by Israeli blogger Eylon Aslan-Levy in a Times of Israel post on Sunday.
“The assumption is that the designer and H&M did not mean to offend Jews,” Mark Gardner, director of communications at the anti-Semitism watchdog Community Security Trust, told London’s Jewish Chronicle. “Nevertheless, fashion statements can work in diverse ways and if you randomly saw somebody wearing this in the street, then you might well believe it to be antisemitic and purchased from a neo-Nazi website or similar.

France: Jewish mayor harassed online by opposition candidate posing as Jew

Earlier today I posted about a Jewish candidate in France who was harassed online by someone posing as a Jew.

Turns out that a couple of weeks ago another Jewish politicians, from the same party, was also harassed by someone posing as a Jew.  Maybe it's a trend.

Via JTA:
[T]he center-right UDI party dropped a former candidate from its list for the municipality of Schiltigheim near Strasbourg after regional prosecutors said she would stand trial for inciting racial hatred in connection with anti-Semitic statements they suspect she made online.
The candidate, Hayat Belaredj, is believed to have written on Facebook: “The Jewish danger, what a disgrace” about outgoing mayor Raphael Nisand, who is Jewish, Le Monde reported on Tuesday.

Belaredj posted the message using a fake account and a Jewish name "Moshe Yaniv".  She says she's not antisemitic and was under attack by the mayor's party (Socialist Party).  Which is apparently a good enough reason to pose as a Jew and post antisemitic slogans online.

UK: Students vote to boycott Israel, then call to destroy it

Students at King's College London voted to boycott Israel.  After the vote, the BDS supporters cheered "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free".  As is well known, that will first require wiping out Israel.

Via Roar News:

France: Jewish candidate gets death threats

Hagay Sobol, a Jewish candidate for the Socialist Party in the municipal elections in Marseille received death threats by phone and social network.  Sobol reports that the man who called him identified himself as a Jewish activist of the right-wing UMP.

Sobol says that though the man presented himself as a Jew and used the name "Simon Hanavi" (The Prophet Simon), his language was that of the far-right and this was an antisemitic attack.

UK: Journalist fears Jewish-Zionist cabal

Antisemitism is more than graffiti on the walls.  It's stories like these, where the hatred of Jews is so built-in, it's pathological.

As CiF Watch reports, British journalist David Hearst, formerly the Guardian's chief foreign leader writer, has spoken in the past about the pressure he's been under not to express antisemitic views.  It's tough, really. In a recent anti-Israel meeting organized by Amnesty International, he expressed his paranoia of this all encompassing Jewish plot to get him when pro-Israel blogger Richard Millet tried to pose a question.

However, a recent exchange between Hearst and blogger Richard Millett would suggest that Hearst really does fear the subterfuge of CiF Watch Zionists.
The Tweet from Millett links to his blog post - cross posted at CiF Watch – about his experience on Friday at Amnesty International’s London HQ for the launch of Ben White’s (long-awaited!) updated Israeli Apartheid: A Beginner’s Guide. The event was chaired by Hearst and, as you’ll see from the video clip in his post, Millett was denied the chance to ask a question due to his ‘affiliation’.
Hearst’s exact words, when Millett asked why he was denied the right to speak, were as follows:
“I know exactly what you’re up to. And who you are. And who you write for.”

It went downhill from there. More at CiF Watch here and here.

David Hearst is feeling pressured, because the Israeli embassy, in a "secret plot", had asked him not to chair this blatantly anti-Israel meeting, and told him he's not welcome in the embassy if he does. Sounds pretty logical to me. For Hearst, however, it's just proof that all Jews and all Israelis are working together to get him.

Russia: Politician accuses Jews of being neo-liberal, Satanic, Christ-killers

Via IzRus:

Last week St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly's "United Russia" deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed to celebrate June 14 in honor of Saint John of Kronstadt.  Milonov said that Kronstadt is unfairly accused of antisemitism by the Satanic-leaning "neo-liberals", who vilify any saint, as they've done for the past 2000 years since crucifying Jesus.

John of Kronstadt was one of the leaders of the Black Hundreds movement responsible for anti-Jewish pogroms in the early 20th century.

Russia: RT's 'German expert' is publisher of neo-Nazi magazine

The Interpreter discovers that Russian broadcaster RT's 'German expert' is a neo-Nazi.  But that is not surprising.  RT's experts always seem to be unknowns with strong antisemitic, anti-Western views.  Maybe they can also find out more about who 'British expert' Moeen Raoof is.

Manuel Ochsenreiter is not a household name either in the United States or in his native Germany. He’s the editor of “Zuerst! German News Magazine” whose promotional material says that it’s “committed only to the life and survival interests of the German people and the precious heritage of our European culture“, and describes other German media as being under the control of “foreign interests.”
(...)
RT has singled Manuel Ochsenreiter out as their primary on-air spokesman for the German point of view, featuring him on talk shows and extended interviews on the network scores of times over the past four years. While it may seem strange for RT to choose the editor of a neo-Nazi magazine to be their expert on German public opinion, in a way it makes perfect sense precisely because so few people know who he is. RT identifies him on air only as a German journalist. Moreover, judging by his on-air performance, he is very happy to say whatever it takes to keep his patrons at RT happy.

UK: More than half of antisemitic physical attacks aren't reported

The findings were based on a 2012 poll commissioned by the European Union’s Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) – the largest survey ever carried out among the continent’s Jewish population.

Whereas only six per cent of UK Jews experienced antisemitism recently at a sporting occasion, 37 per cent said they had done so in an academic or school setting.

(...)

Forty-six per cent of instances of anti-Jewish vandalism had not been reported, along with 57 per cent for physical violence and 71 per cent for verbal abuse.

When it came to the perpetrators, victims of such incidents pointed the finger more at those with extremist Islamic or left-wing political views than more traditional agents of antisemitism such as the far-right.

Russia: TV host says Jews brought the Holocaust on themselves

Evelina Zakamskaya, host for  Russia 24 News, a gov't owned broadcaster, said that Jews brought the Holocaust on themselves.

Netherlands: "Wilders - Israel's dog" in anti-racism demo

A sign saying "Wilders - Israel's dog" was held up during an anti-racism protest in Amsterdam this past Saturday.  Photos by Maarten Brante.

As can be seen in this video, the sign was held during the speeches, in front of the speakers.

Various other protesters showed off their anti-racism credentials by sporting Palestinian Keffiyeh and anti-Israel signs.  Communists, anti-capitalists were also a big part of the event.  A few Jihadi flags were also spotted.

Norway: "Jews were gassed, and then they bought up everything"

A few comments on this story:

1. Death threats?  For what?  By whom?  I can think of many worse things Norwegians said about Jews.

2. Ervin Kohn is really not doing Jews a favor.  The conspiracy theory is not that "Jews are good business people".  That is a compliment, actually.  The conspiracy theory is that "all Jews are rich".  That we get rich by exploiting: the locals, our suffering, our connections etc. etc.  That we're successful because of the Holocaust, and not despite it.  That we "bought up everything".

The clip in question was cut out of the show, but was posted online by NRK (here, at around 5:30)
An outspoken Norwegian commentator has reported receiving death threats after making statements on Norwegian television that were condemned as antisemitic by Jewish groups
Elisabeth Norheim, a Norwegian of Ethiopian descent, compared the success of Jewish people to that of Africans on a debate show broadcast on Norway's NRK network.

“Yes, yes, yes, I'm shit jealous of Jews, me," she exclaimed. "They were gassed, and then afterwards... they just starting buying up shit everywhere. They just bought up everything. I mean, they're the richest guys everywhere. We somehow just have Oprah.”

Ervin Kohn, President of Oslo's Jewish community and vice president of The Norwegian Center Against Racism, said Norheim's statement was "classic anti-Semitic conspiracy theory, namely that Jews are good business people".

"It's a stigma, it is offensive and it is racist," he said.

The vast majority of incidents happened online. CICAD included anti-Semitic threats and incitement to hatred or violence only in mainstream media with wide readerships, the report said.

France: Muslims attack Jew, shout "death to the Jews" and draw swastika on his chest

A Jewish teacher from Paris told police that three men had assaulted and cursed him in Arabic before drawing a swastika on his chest.
The attack occurred on Thursday night, according to a report by the Drancy-based Bureau for National Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism, a watchdog group known as BNVCA.
“They pressed him to the wall and hit his face, around the eyes and on his chest,” the report said. The blows broke his nose and deformed it, according to the report.

“One of the perpetrators opened the victim’s shirt and with a black marker drew a swastika on the man’s bare chest,” BNVCA president Sammy Ghozlan wrote in the BNVCA report.

The victim, who was wearing a kippah at the time of the attack, was identified as K. Richard. He was treated for a broken nose and lacerations on his face on Thursday night.
He told police that the three men whoa attacked him appeared to be of North African descent and were in their twenties. They cornered him as he was exiting a kosher restaurant on Manin Street in Paris’ 19th arrondissement, near the Gare du Nord train station.

The shouted “death to the Jews” and called him “dirty Jew” in French and also shouted insults in Arabic which Richard did not understand, the BNVCA report said.

Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Shalom to all my readers.

The following clip was created by the Ramah High School in Jerusalem (h/t Brabosh)

France: "I was branded a Nazi four times this week, I was told to go back to the gas chambers."

A group of Israeli students visited French university campuses last week.  i24News reports on their impressions:
On French campuses, the students said, prejudices abound. Thus, "Zionists" designates a people, a nationality, or simply a variant of the "fascist" slur. "Jewish," they discovered, stands for a religion, not a people; all Jews live on stolen land; all Jews are Israelis and all Israelis are Jews; all Israelis are soldiers and consequently have killed Palestinian children voluntarily. The students noted that on all the campuses they found that the language used to describe the Arab-Israeli conflict is the same -- a crude lexicon that seems to have been shaped by the media.

"At Tolbiac, a student gave me a menacing look after he spat on the leaflet I handed him," recalled Batsheva, a member of the delegation who hails from Tel Aviv. "But little by little, he realized he did not know everything." Batsheva said the initially unpleasant exchange ended with a photo session with the speaker and other students at Tolbiac who finally agreed to listen.

(...)

After seven days on French campuses, the Israeli students were left with mixed impressions. "You have to ignore anti-Semitic slurs completely," said Perle, from Jerusalem. "I was branded a Nazi four times this week, I was told to go back to the gas chambers."

Netherlands: Wilders hates Muslims because of Israel and the Jews

Dutch-Lebanese rapper Hozny recently published a YouTube song titled "Geertje", about right-wing politician Geert Wilders.  While everybody focused on the death threats aspects of the clip, there are a few interesting lines about Jews there as well.

At the 1:35 mark, Hozny accuses Wilders of hating Islam because he likes Jews:
As a soldier in Israel he likes to be among the Jews. Then the hate for Islam is also created in his eye.
As a young man Wilders spent time in Israel, working in a Moshav.  But according to his statements, his 'hate for Islam' started after he started traveling around the nearby Muslim countries, and saw the oppression they suffered and their hate against Israel.

At the 3:55 mark, the clip shows Wilders wearing a kippa, to the lines:
How is it with the kippa on your head? Is Geertje oppressed by the Jewish faith? You don't hear us mess, you don't hear us complain.

Hozny is talking about Wilders' complaints when female Dutch politicians wear a hijab when visiting Muslim countries.

On the two-year anniversary of the murder of four Jews in Toulouse, the president of the local Jewish community encouraged young Jews to leave France.

“I won’t deny that, yes, I encourage the younger people to make aliyah [immigrate to Israel] or go elsewhere, where they can thrive in open Judaism, emancipated and without constantly fearing over what tomorrow will bring,” Bensemhoun said during an interview Monday with the i24 television news channel.

111 cases ended in conviction.  In about 300 cases, the perpetrators were not found, and another 100 were dropped as the prosecutor didn't deem them criminal offenses.

Finland: Magneetti Media site continues to propagate antisemitism

In October 2013 Juha Kärkkäinen, the owner of Magneetti Media, a free distribution newspaper and website, was fined for "inciting to hatred against an ethnic group" and ordered to remove antisemitic articles from his site.

As Algemeiner pointed out at the time, the antisemitic articles weren't removed immediately,
On the Magneetti Media website, on Tuesday, Kärkkäinen’s newspaper continued with his Jew hate. On the front page, Magneetti Media republished a story from June that tried to tie Israel to the U.S. government’s NSA snooping scandal. Another front page post in the video section of the homepage is a YouTube clip of Brother Nathaniel, a man with a thick, New York accent dressed as an orthodox Christian priest peddling the “Jews control the media” trope.
(...)
The articles that were on focus during the trial, screeds about rabbis, the Rothschild family tree, Jews controlling the media, and other anti-Semitic story lines that The Algemeiner reported on in July, were still posted online at the Magneetti Media website on Tuesday.

In fact, they're still online.

Now, five months later, I happened across this fascinating article on "understanding Antisemitism".  Posted a couple of weeks ago, it includes a YouTube clips which justifies antisemitism.

The article is illustrated with Carlos Latuff's "Never Again / Over Again!" cartoon.

Needless to say, this article is just a drop of water in the sea of Jew and Israel hatred that is Magneetti Media.  Other recently posted articles bring David Duke's opinions on the "Secret Behind Communism" (hint: it's the Jews), and on why the West supports the Islamists in Syria and not Assad and his peaceful charity-group Hezbolla cohorts (hint: Jews again).

MSR put up a poster saying "In Crimea or in Kiev Zionism is the enemy".

France: Quenelle used to harass Jews

In January I brought an interview with two Jewish teenagers who noted that people make the Quenelle gesture at them as an insult towards Jews.

In an article in Deutsche Welle on the situation of French Jews, the story repeats itself.
"I am French, born in Paris, says Salome Roussel. "I'm thinking about moving to Israel, because French people are more and more against Jews. They say we are a lobby, that we are the masters of the world, and it's not so!"

(...)

Salome Roussel cites a recent incident on the Paris metro as being illustrative of the pressures Jews face in France. A man sitting in front of her on the train smiled at her and caught sight of the Star of David she wears on a pendant around her neck. As he was getting off the train, he made the 'quenelle' gesture at her.
He did it because "I've got a Star of David, and I'm a Jew," says Roussel, adding: "I'm not the system!"

Ireland: Racism watchdog group adds antisemitism to racist crimes list

ENAR Ireland is a racism watchdog group, part of the ENAR, the European Network Against Racism.

They now published their quarterly report (here in PDF, h/t glykosymoritis) for October-December.  I reviewed it, to see what antisemitic incidents they report.  Answer: none.  While they see 'Muslim' as a separate ethnic identity, ENAR Ireland did not think acts against Jews deserve their own category.  It was therefore impossible to say whether they even count such incidents.

Notice that their 'word cloud' above does not mention the word 'Jew' at all, not to mention 'Zionist' or 'Israeli'.  Such things don't exist in Ireland.

Anyway.. I prepared a scathing article on the topic.   But, as it happened, that very same day, an Irish Twitter user attacked me and other Jews/Israelis on Twitter with antisemitic tweets.  So I went to ENAR Ireland's site, and filled out their racist incident form.  They did not have "Jew" as an option under victim, so I filled it in under "Other" and pointed out that it's racist to ignore antisemitism.

I was immediately contacted by ENAR Ireland's director, Shane OCurry, who said the issue had been under discussion and the form will soon be rectified.

Indeed, I'm happy to say that within a few days the form was updated to add "Jewish" as possible victim.

So, I learned an invaluable lesson from this:

It's extremely important to log antisemitic incidents by the proper authorities.

I prepared a list on my blog of organizations dedicated to fighting antisemitism and racism in Europe, and their hotlines for reporting such incidents.  Even if you're 'just' attacked on Twitter or Facebook - don't hesitate and file a report.

There are barely 2,000 Jews in Ireland, which I suppose makes antisemitism against actual Jews very rare.  But you don't need a Jew in front of you to be antisemitic, and given the reach of the internet, Irish antisemites have immense reach.

Now such incidents can be properly cataloged (as long as they are reported..)

France: Jewish political candidates targeted, attacked

Via JSS News:

Jewish candidates in the upcoming municipal elections in two Paris suburbs were targeted for vandalism and physical attack.

In Le Blanc-Mesnil posters of Laurent Benhaim and Edwin Legris were vandalized with Jewish stars.

A day later Edwin Legris was attacked in his home by thugs wearing 'police' shirts and wielding baseball bats.  Legris, his wife and children were all seriously wounded.

The office of Sarah Benhamou, a candidate in Noisy-le-Sec, was vandalized with antisemitic graffiti: swastikas, "Jew", "big whore" and sexually explicit graffiti.  Le Parisien reports that posters of the candidate elsewhere in town were also defaced with swastikas.

How to stump a leftist conspiracy theorist

Dr. Marko Maunula is a professor of American history at Clayton State University in Georgia.  Originally from Finland, he writes in the Finnish weekly Suomen Kuvalehti about American life.  He recently wrote several interesting articles about antisemitism.

In one recent column Maunula writes that he spoke to a leftist student of his about the Syrian civil war.  It's a plot by the Rothschilds, the student said, in order to gain control of the Syrian Central Bank.  The Jews also control the media, which is why we don't know the truth about what's happening, and they also control Hollywood, which puts up a smokescreen to obscure the truth.

Maunula responded with a question: what do you want to do about it?  If you think Jewish success is a problem, what should be done?  Should Jews be banned from working in the finance, media and entertainment industries?

The student, of course, did not have an answer.

Manula says he's had such discussions before with both American and Finnish leftists.  They always come back to the same themes: the Jewish-Western-banker conspiracy.

This shows the two aspects of Leftist paranoia:
1. Antisemitism - the Jews are responsible for all evil.
2. Lack of any real solution - the system doesn't work, but nobody says what should replace it.

Maunula told his student: either you punish success and ban Jews from the fields where you think they over-excel, or you learn from it and try to excel as well.

What do you think they did?

France: "Jew trap is ready" in the oven

Via Philosémitisme Blog, with thanks for the translation:

The following image was posted on Procit, a French Facebook humor page.  The poster, Mehdi Boudjnane, wrote "It's racist, but funny".

It shows money in an oven.  The caption says "my trap of Jew is ready".  This is a play on words which means both that it's easy to trap a Jew (with small bills!)  and that the Jews trapped the world by organizing the Holocaust in order to get a state (or even pretended to organize one).

The comments on the image were along these lines:

The image had originally been posted on Twitter where it was shared thousands of times, but later removed.  On Facebook, this group sees nothing wrong with this image.  It's racist, but funny.

Ukraine: Couple attacked in Kiev, Jewish leaders blame pro-Russian rioters

Israel National News reports:
An Israeli couple in Ukraine's capital city of Kiev were rescued from a near-lynching last Friday, right before Shabbat.
Zalman Hetzklovich and his wife were walking in Kiev's Independence Square in the center of the city, when eight Ukrainians wearing uniforms and holding sticks suddenly leaped out of a van at them.
The Ukrainians pointed at the couple, shouting in Russian for them to stop.
"I understood that if I didn't run at that moment it would be the end of us," reported Hetzklovich. "I stopped a taxi and got in with my wife, asking the driver to get us out of there. The attackers surrounded the car and demanded the driver stop."

Rabbi Hillel Cohen, who himself was stabbed in Kiev in an antisemitic attack last week, blames pro-Russian rioters for both attacks.

This idea is echoed by another Ukrainian Jewish leader:
An attack on a Ukrainian rabbi over the weekend was a provocation, intended as a “justification for the continuation of Russian aggression” in Crimea, one Ukrainian Jewish leader asserted on Saturday.
Such violence serves to “discredit the new government of Ukraine,” Josef Zissels, chairman of the Vaad of Ukraine and a vice president of the World Jewish Congress, told The Jerusalem Post.

UK: Man shouts antisemitic abuse through a megaphone

Police are investigating reports that a man drove around Manchester hurling antisemitic abuse through a megaphone.

The incident occurred outside Jewish shops and synagogues in King’s Road in Prestwich. Dozens of people witnessed a man driving a silver Ford Fiesta car and holding a megaphone.

One witness said the driver had shouted at Orthodox women to remove their wigs and men to take off their black hats.

UK: BNP blames Jews for everything

Nick Griffin, head of the right-wing British National Party (BNP), blamed Jews in a recent right-wing conference of a "cold-blooded, calculated and deliberate" attack on European nations.

CiF Watch reports on more BNP antisemitism:

The BNP on the  Ukraine crisis, blaming Jews for Bolshevism.
Indeed, the radical Jewish racism and supremacism and anti-Christian hatred that in the 1930s produced the Bolshevik terror, now largely find their outlet in the extreme Zionism, anti-white fanaticism and globalism of the neo-cons.

Nick Griffin in the EU parliament, blaming leftists, capitalists and Zionists for plotting to wipe out the White British:
An unholy alliance of leftists, capitalists and Zionist supremacists has schemed to promote immigration and miscegenation with the deliberate aim of breeding us out of existence in our own homelands.

Lithuania: "I would be flattered if anyone ever thought Lithuanians controlled the world"

Only eight of us came out to protest against this mockery of the Holocaust, an open expression of xenophobia and antisemitism. Although we were protected by the police, it was quite difficult to experience the deep hostility shown toward us. If looks could kill, we would have been murdered time after time.

Then there were the men and women who came up to myself and Professor Dovid Katz to shout at us in Lithuanian, knowing full well that neither of us understands the language.

(...)
The march ended with a protest assembly in which I found myself conducting a heated debate with a Lithuanian who insisted that I was to blame for ruining Lithuanian-Jewish relations. “Let bygones be bygones,” he said. “Why don’t you speak to the crowd about the brave Lithuanians who saved Jews at great risk during the Holocaust? They will applaud you.”

I tried to explain that I truly admire the righteous but this was a crowd that preferred Nazi collaborators as their heroes. In response, the man said that he had visited Israel and had been extremely impressed.

Imagine my surprise when I learned his identity — it was Vitas Tomkus, the editor of Respublika, a tabloid that has published more than its fair share of openly antisemitic articles and cartoons, including a notorious one portraying Jews and gays controlling the world. “How could you do such a thing?” I asked Mr Tomkus. “Take it as a compliment. I would be flattered if anyone ever thought Lithuanians controlled the world,” he said with a chuckle, leaving us to ponder the difficulties of combating antisemitism in post-Communist Eastern Europe.

France: Holocaust denier on National Front party’s ticket

France’s far-right National Front party placed a Holocaust denier on its list of candidates for the municipal elections in Paris.

The candidate, Pierre Panet, wrote in 2012 that he “shares the analysis of Roger Garaudy,” a convicted Holocaust denier. The L’Express daily reported on his candidacy Wednesday.

The same year, he told the AFP news agency: “I haven’t changed. I always credit Robert Faurisson, but I refrain from elaborating these theses because it is forbidden by law.”

Sweden: Antisemitic Muslim preacher invited to Syrian event

Sheikh Mohammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi  (far left)

Via Swedish blogger Torbjörn Jerlerup:

A month ago, antisemitic and homophobic preacher Sheikh Mohammad Rateb Al-Nabulsi was invited to speak at the annual conference of Muslimska Familjedagarna (Muslim Family Days).  After the issue hit the headlines, the invitation was withdrawn.

Turns out that Sheikh Al-Nablusi has been invited again, this time by the Syrian Society of Southern Sweden. According to the event's advertising, it is co-organized by ABF (Workers' Educational Association) and sponsored by the city of Malmö.  It is set for this Saturday, the same day as the Malmö kippa-march against antisemitism.

ABF claim they are not involved with this at all.  Coincidently (or not), one of the boardmembers of ABF Malmö is Adrian Kaba, a Social Democrat politician, who in the past wrote an op-ed about the "Jewish-European right-wing extremist conspiracy".

The Syrian Society say they invited Al-Nablusi because he's famous and they want to attract a lot of people.  He was not invited to speak, and in any case that does not mean they agree with his ideas.

"The nation sees very well what kind of mentality we are fighting against. There are many things that I can tell you. But I would understand if a Jew, an atheist, a Zoroastrian would do all these things to us. Shame on them if these things are done by those who claim to be Muslim. How can a Muslim do this?" Zaman quoted Caglayan as saying, quoting Al Jazeera Turk.
