The Mayor and two other elected officials in the small town of Châteaurenard, near Marseille were stabbed during the World War commemorations yesterday.
The perpetrator is a man in his 30s named Julien. According to a police source, the attacker believed local and national personalities and media people were involved in a Jewish plot and gang fraud.
