France: "The Jews are rich and they buy properties to throw people out of their homes"

Ido Daniel, on the visit of Israeli students in French universities (in translation):
In the university of Lyon, I met Nicolas.  When he saw Israelis on campus, he came up to me and politely asked about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the peace process.  When we finished, he paused for a moment, and said he had a simpler solution to the Middle East conflict.  "You just need to wipe out Israel," he said with a smile.  I smiled back at his cynical joke.  "Why?" I asked.  "You understand," he said, "what's happening in the Middle East is exactly what's happening here in France.  The Jews are rich and they buy properties to throw people out of their homes.  How do you have so much money?"

Nicolas continued smiling, but the smile was wiped off my face.  He wasn't cynical, he wasn't joking. He meant everything he said.
