France: Young Jewish couple robbed and raped

A young couple (21 and 19) who were staying at the young man's parents' home at Créteuil were assaulted and robbed by three masked and armed men.

The perpetrators said they had come to steal everything especially money.  They kept asking the victims for cash, because as Jews they must have plenty of it.  As no cash was available they asked for their cards and codes.

One of the thieves went away to draw money from the bank, while another gagged and bound the male victim and a third one raped the young woman.

Their ordeal lasted for one hour.  The robbers made off with money, jewellery and computer equipment.  Two were caught soon after by the police and the third one is still at large.
