Amit Jacoby decided to repeat the experiment for VICE, this time in Berlin. What happened? Not much. People stopped and stared, but nobody accosted him.
In Europe today, that is considered normal.
In 'Apartheid Israel', btw, such behavior would be considered racist. But, we can't apply Israeli standards to other countries.
Back in December, Jake Wallis Simons ran the same experiment in London. He says nobody paid him any special attention, and he did not get any abusive remarks.
