Denmark: Online comments blame Israel's aggression on circumcision

A new Danish blog 'Antisemitisme watch' follows antisemitism online.

In a recent post, the blog reports on various antisemitic comments made in the context of the 'circumcision debate' - that is, the debate in Denmark as to whether circumcision should be banned. The comments are from Facebook, posted on the wall of Professor Morten Frisch, a Danish doctor who rejects circumcision, and on the wall of Jewish-Danish journalist Martin Krasnik.

Of 72 comments the blog had received, they posted 11.  I'll bring just a few of those.

1. Commentator says that they should cut it off completely so they can't breed.

2. Commentator says circumcision is still permitted because left-wing politicians are beholden to the Muslim vote. And the Jewish lobby is powerful.  The latter idea recurs in other comments.

3. Commentator says that circumcision leads to poorer sex-life, which leads to frustration and aggression. Just look at Israel

4. Commentator tells Krasnik that they're tired of his attitudes and that "we've got more than enough of Hitler, but it's scary that Israel and the Jewish state follow the same principles"
