Norway: Socialist politician says Israel is conducting genocide

During a municipal discussion in Stavanger, Eirik Faret Sakariassen, head of the Socialist Left party in town, said that Israel ('a so-called democracy') is conducting genocide and systemic obliteration of the Palestinian people.

Marie Ljones Brekke, a member of the Christian Democratic Party, suggested he look up the term 'genocide'.
