France: BDS supporters accused of antisemitic harassment
Via La Dépêche du Midi (h/t LDJ)
A couple of days ago BDS in France held a conference in Toulouse titled "Antisemitism/Anti-Zionism - who stands to benefit from the amalgam between them?"
The main speaker was Pierre Stambul, co-president of the UJFP, the French Jewish Union for Peace.
Gérard Folus head of the local LICRA branch (International League against Racism and Anti-Semitism) came with a group of about 40 to protest the event. There was a tense standoff between the BDS supporters and their opponents.
According to Folus, people were screaming at him "Jews out, we don't want you, enough of the Jews!"
Nicole Yardeni, head of the local CRIF (Jewish umbrella organization) says that one of the BDS supporters said she's the most racist women in France.
The BDS group says that no antisemitic statements were made and that they wouldn't tolerate such.
