Greece: Holocaust memorial in Kavala desecrated

The Holocaust memorial in Kavala, dedicated just two weeks ago, was now desecrated with white paint.

The memorial has already led to a lot of antisemitic sentiment.  The mayor first wanted the star of david removed from the monument, and later suggested any opponets were working for the Jews.  The Church and other local politicians also came out against the monument, for religious reasons.  and at the unveiling ceremony the government representative said Jews are the new Nazis.
