Earlier I posted an article about a Spanish politician from Cordoba, Amparo Pernichi, who says that the BDS law she's been pushing is reason to 'rethink' the International Sephardi Music Festival.
She now denies it, of course.
To an antisemitism watchdog who publicized that she was cancelling the festival, she replied on her Twitter: "@IdoDaniel please Don't tell líes!! I didnt demand any cancellation. Nobody gonna still us our Sefarad legacy. Even people like you."
She's insulted that she's being portrayed as an antisemite.
I wonder how she'll explain this.
A few days ago she posted on her twitter a link to an article titled "24 things they don't want you to know about ISIS and al-Qaeda". She wrote (translation) "Beware the temptation, this is not a clash of civilizations or a world divided between good and evil."
The subtitle of this article: "The Islamic State, ISIS or Daesh, was created by the CIA, Mossad and MI6 to break up Syria".
The article appeared on a site called nuevatribuna.es, and is actually taken from an article written by Michel Chossudovsky, the president and director of the Canadian antisemitic conspiracy site Centre for Research on Globalization. The original article was titled "Twenty-six Things About the Islamic State (ISIL) that Obama Does Not Want You to Know About"
Chossudovsky says as follows (#6 on both lists):
The Islamic State (ISIL) was originally an Al Qaeda affiliated entity created by US intelligence with the support of Britain’s MI6, Israel’s Mossad, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Presidency (GIP), Ri’āsat Al-Istikhbārāt Al-’Āmah ( رئاسة الاستخبارات العامة).
To sum up:
1. Pernichi supports the antisemitic BDS movement
2. Pernichi reads and believes antisemitic conspiracy sites
Conclusion: Pernichi is an antisemitic Spanish politician.
