Latvia: Holocaust memorial stolen

Via Izrus:

A 20 pound statue commemorating the synagogue of Liepaja was stolen New Year's Eve.  Vandals blew up the exhibit, which was inaugurated in mid-November, disconnecting the statue from its pedestal.

Police later found it nearby.
