Day 71: Counting the Days till EU Condemns PA Incitement to Kill Jews

Following the murders in Jerusalem enabled by the constant Palestinian incitement to kill Jews, this blog will wait until one European country will step forward and condemn the PA for its incitement.

It is not enough to ask the PA to stop inciting.

It is not enough to condemn the terror attacks caused by such incitement.

European leaders must make it clear to the PA that incitement to kill Jews is unacceptable. That such incitement will mean no support for Palestinian aspirations for statehood.

Until then, European leaders are encouraging Palestinians to kill Jews.

Portugal: Newspaper promotes bonkers Jewish conspiracy book by Spanish author

Público, a Portuguese centrist-leaning "reference daily newspaper, carries an interview with Cristina Martín Jiménez, a Spanish "investigative journalist", author of a book entitled "The Club of the Powerful - the occult plans of Bilderberg" ("O Clube Secreto dos Poderosos — Os planos ocultos de Bilderberg"), recently translated into Portuguese, which promotes the bonkers conspiracy theory of Jewish domination and control of the world economy.

Question: You argue in your book that Bilderberg is an alliance between the Catholic aristocracy, the Jews and the Free masons? Where do the Jews and the Free masons come in?

Answer: "The Jews are into banking and occupy a privileged position to control the world finance. David Rockfeller, Henry Kissinger and the others are Jewish or Jewish-minded. Politicians, like Valérie [sic] Giscard d’Estaing, who promoted the European constitution, and Barak Obama are free masons."

Full interview: Público and RTVE.

Wikipedia gives some information about the daily.  Its editor is Bárbara Reis.  It was awarded the European Newspaper of the Year in the category of nationwide newspapers by European Newspapers Congress in 2014.  It is owned Sonae group - in 2007 Paulo Azevedo became Sonae's CEO, taking the group leadership and succeeding his father, Belmiro de Azevedo.

A Google search reveals that the book is receiving a lot of attention in Portugal HERE.

Europe: The Jews are leaving because they are already here, dwelling among us

A Christian blogger, Archbishop Cranmer, writes:

French youth celebrate murder of four Jews
by a Muslim in front of Hyper Casher

The words of French Prime Minister Manuel Valls echo down the centuries of anti-Semitic Europe, where Jews have been marginalised, persecuted, reviled, expelled and turned to ash in the ovens of Auschwitz. France could survive the emigration of any ethnic group, he avers. But if the Jews leave, “France will no longer be France. The French Republic will be judged a failure.” [...]

You see, it isn’t only France: incredibly, half of the Jewish populations of many European countries are so fearful, intimidated and oppressed that they are considering leaving their homes, families and communities and emigrating to a foreign land.

Cries of “Death to the Jews” ring across towns and cities as the spectre of Nazi ghettos descends once again. “They pursue the Jews in the streets of Berlin… as if we were in 1938,” says Israel’s Ambassador to Germany, Yakov Hadas-Handelsman. He has also heard chants of “Jewish pigs” and “Gas the Jews”.

“Since March 2012, I am ambassador of Israel in Germany,” he said. “If someone had told me that I witnessed such hateful, incites hatred and anti-Semitic phenomena would be in public in this country, I would not probably have thought it possible.” Jews are being advised not to go out onto the streets wearing a kippah. In Toulouse, Jewish children are shot in a Jewish school. In Brussels, people are randomly killed in a Jewish museum: if they happen to be Jews or Israelis, all the better. In Liege, a café displayed a sign in its window which said dogs were welcome, but Jews were not allowed to enter. This is Christian Europe, which, of all the continents of the world, ought to feel the deepest shame at the rise of this “new anti-Semitism”.

And the oppressors are not all hardened Islamists obligingly plotting their next spectacular on SnapChat and WhatsApp for the convenience of MI5: no, many are simply ordinary but angry, young, male Muslims, itching for some self-proclaimed imam to issue the Call to Jihad. To these young male Muslims, the Israeli occupation of Gaza is a certain grievance, but the Jewish occupations of Paris, London and Amsterdam also need sorting. To the media, they may be male; they may be Asian or “of Asian appearance”. But no, they may not be called Muslim, for that would cause great offence.

These extremists, Baroness Warsi insists, “do not follow any faith”. Sajid Javid, the first elected Muslim to join the Cabinet, is not so blind: “The lazy answer from people out there is to say that this had got nothing whatsoever to do with Islam and Muslims and that should be the end of that part of the debate,” he said. “That is lazy and that would be wrong. You can’t get away from the fact that these people are using Islam, they are taking a great religion, a peaceful religion of a billion people around the world, taking this religion and using it as their tool to carry out their horrible activities.”

The Jews are leaving Europe not because the Jihadists are coming, but because they are already here, dwelling among us. They hate Israel and they loathe Jews, but, pace Manuel Valls, we say almost nothing and do very little. Instead, we let the Jews emigrate to the United States or “go back” to Israel, and they are doing so in their thousands every year. In the Holy Land they may be surrounded on all sides by the enemies of Zionism, but at least they have in Benjamin Netanyahu the leader of a government which will not hesitate to shelter and defend them. It will even bury their martyred bodies in fortified Jewish cemeteries in Jerusalem, where their sanctified graves will never be defiled with swastikas.

UK: Israel 2nd place in 'unfavorable country' survey

Via Times of Israel:
Britons feel more “unfavorable” to Israel than any other country worldwide except North Korea, a survey found.

The survey — taken in August and published Thursday by Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs — showed a massive surge in negative attitudes toward Israel since the previous such study, two years earlier. Thirty-five percent of Britons said they “feel especially unfavorable towards” Israel in the 2014 survey, compared to 17% in 2012.

That figure meant that Israel is regarded more unfavorably by Britons than Iran — 33% in the 2014 survey, compared to 45% in 2012. Only North Korea fares worse — regarded as especially unfavorable by 47% in 2014, compared to 40% in 2012.

Austria: Two Jews attacked with pepper-spray

Via Die Presse:

Two men were attacked in Vienna by a group of five men.  The attackers used  pepper-spray and shouted antisemitic insults: 'fucking Jews' and 'Jewish pigs'.

The attack occurred Friday night.  The Austrian Freedom Party's (FPO) held its annual Akademikerball (Academic's Ball) that same night.

The two men are Jewish, but were not wearing any religious clothing.

The police confirmed the attack, but not the antisemitic aspects of it, as they have not heard both sides of the story.  The attackers have yet to be caught.

Germany: Vice-President of the German Parliament Claudia Roth 'met with Jew hater' on the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day

“Why do you meet a Jew hater, Mrs Roth”,  asked BILD newspaper.
Claudia Roth, a member of the German Greens, led a delegation to Tehran that also included Dagmar Wöhrl from the CSU and Stefan Rebmann from the SPD. The five-day trip included meetings with the President of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, who denied the Holocaust at the 2009 Munich Security Conference. Larijani defended the then-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s regime, saying it had “different perspectives on the Holocaust.”

The German MPs also met with Masoumeh Ebtekar, the Vice President of the Islamic Republic, who was a spokeswoman for the radicals who stormed the US Embassy and took hostages in 1979. She threatened to shoot American hostages during the Islamic Revolution. “Why do you meet a Jew hater, Mrs Roth,” asked BILD newspaper. “The world commemorates the liberation of the survivors of the Auschwitz extermination camp - and the Bundestag Vice President is photographed with Iran's controversial politicians,”  the paper stressed. Iran has called repeatedly for Israel's destruction and dissidents, religious minorities and homosexuals are persecutaed by the Islamic regime.

In the article, BILD quoted Michael Spaney, director of “Stop the Bomb”, a Berlin-based organization that seeks to stop Tehran’s drive to become a nuclear-armed power and promotes human rights in the Iran: “Iran's responsibility for more than 200.000 deaths and millions of refugees in Syria is ignored. Iran's responsibility for the strengthening of IS in Iraq and Syria is swept under the carpet. Iran's current involvement in the Shiite takeover of Yemen is pushed aside. The Iranian role in the murder case of the Argentine prosecutor Alberto Nismans in the last week seems to not to be an issue. Even Iran's support of the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas with weapons and funds is left out. The wish to include the terror exporter Iran in the fight against terrorism is absurd and dangerous.”

France: Soldiers guarding Jewish schools regularly attacked and threatened

At first every incident made the news.  Now it's becoming the norm.

Welcome to Jewish life in France.

Via Le Progres h/t LDJ:

This past Friday the soldiers standing guard outside the Nah’alat Moché Jewish school in Villeurbanne (Lyon) were approached by three men.  One waved a gun (which turned out to be fake), shouted antisemitic slogans and made the Quenelle gesture.

The same man had made the Quenelle gesture at the soldiers also this past Wednesday, January 28th.

All three men were arrested by the police.

This is the third attack on soldiers at this school in less than a week.  Previously one man was arrested after drawing his finger across his throat, and somebody unknown tried to blind the soldiers with a laser pointer.
