Russia: Jewish actor told to 'go back to the Promised Land'

Leonid Yarmolnik, a Jewish-Russian actor, was a panelist on a talk show on Russia-1 TV.  The issue was a law against killing stray dogs.

During the discussion, one of the other panelists did not like Yarmolnik's views on adopting animal-protection laws, so he whispered something to him.  Yarmolnik turned to the audience and informed them he was just invited to leave Russia and go to the Promised Land.  He then left the set.

Yarmolnik blames Russia-1, which he says was interested in causing conflict in order to draw an audience.
