To sum up the story: A Muslim attacked Jews. The police and media claimed he was insane. According to the Daily Mail, they also claimed he was a right-wing fanatic.
Turns out he was neither. This is not a one-time occurrence. The French authorities claim they're treating antisemitism seriously, but when they're faced with actual antisemitism, they do their best to downplay it.
