Germany: Holocaust memorial targeted by neo-Nazi rioters

Neo-Nazis of the "National Opposition" (Nationaler Widerstand) rioted in Dortmund on New Year's Eve, targeting a Jewish memorial, among other things.

A commemoration wreath which was laid by the memorial was set on fire.  The memorial commemorates the destruction of the local synagogue and the murder of Jews during the Holocaust.

The neo-Nazis, on their part, who photographed the incident, blame 'immigrants' for the arson, and say it was part of a "Freedom for Gaza" demonstration.
