Norway: Newspaper lectures Israel "Thou Shall Not Kill"
Antisemitism is sometimes very hard to define. This is not the first time that a Norwegian paper refers to Biblical themes when they turn to Jews. Is that antisemitism? When it becomes a pattern, when Jews are the only who are described in Biblical terms, it seems so.
Via MIFF, Amnesty recently published a report lambasting Israsel for war crimes. The report is titled "Trigger-happy: Israel’s use of excessive force in the West Bank".
Journalist Jan-Erik Smilden wrote an opinion article on that report and the responses from pro-Israel activists in Norway. The article, which appeared in Dagbladet, is titled "Thou Shall Not Kill". I assume this was an editorial choice.
