Germany: For third time Makkabi players subjected to anti-Semitic attacks leading to cancellation of game

Berlin - For the third time there have have been anti-Semitic attacks on the third men's team of TuS Makkabi 

During a local league game between TuS Makkabi III and 1. FC Neukölln several players mostly of Arab descent threatened and attacked Makkabi players resulting in the cancellation of the game.

Several Makkabi players and the referee Werner Maass reported threats of violence referring to the so called third intifada such as: "I'll stab you" and "I'll slit you". Read more in German.
