France: Cars vandalized and marked 'Jew' (by a Jew)

Via Liberation:

A man was arrested for vandalizing around 20 cars in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.  The cars were all tagged with the word 'Jew' (Juif) in large letters.


Update, via Europe-Israel:

The cars were vandalized by an elderly Jew who was trying to prove he was being harassed by antisemites.  The man had previously filed several complaints about antisemitic vandalism, but police suspected he was responsible for it himself.

The man and his wife wanted to move from their public-housing project.
