UK: Charity Commission to Investigate "War on Want" for Anti-Semitism

The UK Charity Commission has decided to open an investigation into the group War on Want.

Jewish Human Rights Watch (JHRW) says that it has submitted a complaint about the group to the Charity Commission. According to the complaint, War on Want frequently ignores its stated purpose of fighting poverty in order to rail against the State of Israel.

JHRW's statement on the issue notes that it "welcomes the decision to investigate this tirade of antisemitism which has gone unchallenged for too long."
