Nine tombstones were destroyed at the Jewish cemetery in Bielsko-Biala in southern Poland.
Among the damaged tombstones was that of Karol Korn, an architect who designed and built nearly the entire city center and also built the funeral building on the cemetery premises, Dorota Wiewiora, president of the Jewish Community in Bielsko-Biala, told the Polish Press Agency. There are no suspects in the vandalism.
Two months ago, seven gravestones were destroyed in a vandalism attack. more
