Memorial Service For Jews Murdered Around The World

Via Yeshiva World News:
The annual Yom HaZikaron (Israel Memorial Day) ceremony memorializing Jews murdered in anti-Semitic attacks around the world, along with fallen Israeli servicemen and women and Israeli victims of terror, will take place this Wednesday, 3 Iyar, at 9 AM in the plaza of the Jewish Agency headquarters building in Jerusalem (48 King George Street).

This year’s ceremony will center on the murder of 37-year-old Jewish teacher Moshe Ya’ish Nahari, a father of nine from the town of Raydah in Yemen, who was shot to death by a radical Islamist in 2008. Nahari’s widow and several of his children, who made aliyah following his murder, will take part in the ceremony. His daughter, Leah, will address the gathering.

The ceremony is being hosted by The Jewish Agency for Israel in partnership with the World Zionist Organization, the Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF), Keren Hayesod-UIA, The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), and Jewish Federations of Canada-UIA (JFC-UIA).
