The newsletter of the church in St. Gallenkirch, Vorarlberg quoted Hitler's Mein Kampf, praising the doctrine of Catholic celibacy.
Hitler saw the church as a model for Nazism, as through celibacy the church was forced to draw its followers from the general population and not just from its own ranks.
