The assailants beat both victims severely in the process of the robbery,
calling them “dirty Jews.” Both are now
confined to wheelchairs.
The program,
however, omitted any mention of the anti-Semitic nature of the attack.
At the time, the victims had also said that the attackers appeared to
be "Arabic-Moroccan."
